Nokia IP150 Security Platform Appliance Overview Console and Serial (AUX) Ports Use the built-in console port to supply the information that makes the appliance available on the network. Use the built-in USB (AUX) port for RS232-compliant equipment you are using with your appliance; for example, as a modem connection for managing the appliance. Figure 4 provides pin assignment information for console and serial connections. Caution Nokia recommends that you use the console cable that was delivered with your appliance for your console connection.
