CONSOLE DIAGRAM FEATURES OF THE CONSOLE The incline trainer console offers an impressive array of features designed to make your workouts more effective and enjoyable. The console features revolutionary iFit technology that enables the incline trainer to communicate with your wireless network. With iFit technology, you can download personalized workouts, create your own workouts, track your workout results, race against other iFit users, and access many other features. In addition, the console features a selection of onboard workouts, including nine calorie workouts, eight intensity workouts, eight speed workouts, and nine incline workouts. Each workout automatically controls the speed and incline of the incline trainer as it guides you through an effective exercise session. When you use the manual mode, you can change the speed and incline of the incline trainer with the touch of a button. You can even listen to your favorite workout music or audio books with the console’'s stereo sound system while you get in shape. To turn on the power and set up the console, see page 17. IMPORTANT: If there is a sheet of plastic on the console, remove the plastic. To prevent damage to the walking platform, wear clean athletic shoes while using the incline trainer. The first time the incline trainer is used, observe the alignment of the walking belt, and center the walking belt if necessary (see page 28). Note: The console can display speed and distance in either miles or kilometers. To nd out which unit of measurement is selected or to change the unit of measurement, see HOW TO CHANGE CONSOLE SETTINGS on page 22. For simplicity, all instructions in this section refer to miles. As you exercise, the console will display instant exercise feedback. You can also measure your heart rate using the handgrip heart rate monitor. 16
