PROBLEMS WITH POOR QUALITY PRINTING Longitudinal white stripes Possible cause LED head is dirty. Toner is low. Image drum damaged. Remedy Clean LED head with lens cleaner or soft tissue. Change toner cartridge. Change image drum. Longitudinal fading Possible cause LED head is dirty. Toner is low. Paper is unsuitable for printer. Remedy Clean LED head with lens cleaner or soft tissue. Change toner cartridge. Use recommended paper. Faint printing Possible cause The toner cartridge is incorrectly installed. Toner is low. The paper is moist. Paper is unsuitable for printer. Remedy Reinstall the toner cartridge. Change toner cartridge. Store paper within specified temperature and humidity levels. Use recommended paper. Fading in patches Possible cause The paper is moist.
