Sending Faxes Broadcast transmission! This feature is useful for sending the same document often to selected parties (up to 20 stations). First program the stations, then see page 39 for transmission. qThe broadcast function utilizes ONE-TOUCH DIAL 1-3. The one-touch dial function will be canceled. qBROADCAST key 1 and 2 can accept ONE-TOUCH DIAL and JOG DIAL entries. MANUAL BROAD key can also accept manual dialing entries. Programming the stations 1 Press DIRECTORY PROGRAM . Display: PRESS STATION Using the dial keypad (only for MANUAL BROAD): Enter the fax number and press SET . OR USE JOG-DIAL Example: DIR=3456789 2 For BROADCAST 1-2: Press the desired BROADCAST key. DIAL MODE DIR=3456789 [01] qTo enter other stations, repeat this step (up to 20 stations). 5 Rotate JOG DIAL to select "BROADCAST". Example: BROADCAST 1 Press SET after programming all of the desired stations. For MANUAL BROADCAST: Press MANUAL BROAD . DIAL MODE REGISTERED PRESS STATION Rotate JOG DIAL to select "MANUAL BROAD". MANUAL BROAD OR USE JOG-DIAL 3 Press SET . qTo program another broadcast key, repeat steps 2 to 5. DIR= 4 Enter stations. Using ONE-TOUCH DIAL 1-5: [00] 6 Press STOP to exit the program.
