Various Shooting Functions 6 Press the ADJ./OK button. • [Interval] appears on the screen. 7 Press the shutter release button to shoot the subject. • A picture is taken every time the fixed interval elapses. Stop 8 To stop shooting, press the MENU button. Interval 1 Caution • The interval shooting setting is cleared when the camera is turned off. • The time until the next picture can be taken according to the shooting menu setting may be longer than the time set for interval shooting. In this case, the shooting interval becomes longer than the set time. • During scene mode, interval shooting is not available. Note • Depending on the remaining battery level, the battery may become depleted during movie shooting. Use of a battery with adequate remaining power is recommended. • If you press the shutter release button during interval shooting, the camera shoots as usual. However, the interval shooting setting is unaffected. After shooting, once the time specified in interval shooting elapses, the next shot is taken. • When interval shooting is turned on, multi-shot is automatically set to [Off] even if it had been set to [Continuous] or [M-Cont]. • A high speed memory card or a SD memory card with sufficient memory is recommended. • When Interval is set, the self-timer setting is disabled. 105
