Caution The playback image is not automatically rotated, even when [Auto Rotate] is set to [On], in the following cases. • When playing back movies or images shot with S-Cont. or M-Cont. • In grid view (GP.54) • When playing back images shot with the camera tilted too far forward or backward. • When playing back images upside-down (with the shutter release button facing down) or images shot upside-down. • When changing the camera position during magnified playback. • When the image is going through skew correction (the correction area is displayed) in playback mode (GP.134) • When playing back a slide show or viewing camera images on a TV, the camera is detected as being in the horizontal position even when [Auto Rotate] is set to [On]. In this case, when you play back images with the camera positioned vertically, images shot horizontally are not automatically rotated. The playback images are not automatically rotated even if you rotate the camera during playback. Note Images shot in multi-shot, auto bracket, white balance bracket, and color bracket are automatically rotated according to the orientation of the first image. 5 178 Changing Camera Settings
