Attaching the Toroidal Ferrite Core to the Power Cord of the Subwoofer If you attach a Toroidal ferrite core to the power cord of the subwoofer, it will prevent help to prevent RF interference from radio signals. 1 Pull the fixing tab of the Toroidal ferrite core to open it. 2 Make a loop in the subwoofer power cord. 3 Attach the Toroidal ferrite core to the subwoofer power cord as the figure shows and press it until it clicks. 16 Connecting the Optional Wireless Receiving Amplifier ENG To connect the rear speakers wirelessly, you have to purchase the wireless receiving module and TX card from your Samsung retailer. When you have purchased the wireless receiving module (SWA-3000) additionally Front Speaker (R) Front Speaker (L) Center Speaker CONNECTIONS Rear of Subwoofer WIRELESS RECEIVER MODULE Rear Speaker (L) Rear Speaker (R) Slanted side faces left TX card 1 Connect the front and center speakers to the Subwoofer, referring to pages 15~16. 2 With the subwoofer turned off, insert the TX card into the TX Card Connection(WIRELESS) on the back of the subwoofer. Hold the TX card so that the slanted side faces leftward and insert the card into the port. The TX card enables communication between the subwoofer and the wireless receiver. 3 Connect the left and right rear speakers to the wireless receiving module. 4 Plug the power cord of the wireless receiving module in the wall outlet and switch the power switch . • Do not insert a card other than the TX card dedicated for the product. The product might be damaged or the card may not be removed easily. • Do not insert the TX card upside down or in the reverse direction. • If the TX Card is inserted, sound is not output from the Rear Speaker connectors on the subwoofer. 17

WIRELESS RECEIVER MODULE

Connect the front and center speakers to the Subwoofer, referring to
pages 15~16.

With the subwoofer turned off, insert the TX card into the TX Card
Connection(WIRELESS) on the back of the subwoofer.
Hold the TX card so that the slanted side faces leftward and insert the
card into the port.
