Phone functions Selecting a network 1. On the Home screen, press the Start soft key and select Settings → Phone → More → Networks. 2. Select either Automatic or Manual in the Network selection field (retrieving settings may take a few minutes when you select Manual). 3. If you select Manual, press the Menu soft key and select Select a Network. Select a network you want and press the Done soft key. You are connected to that network. If you select Automatic, select the preferred network. See the next section. 4. Press the Done soft key. Setting preferred networks 1. On the Home screen, press the Start soft key and select Settings → Phone → More → Networks. 2. Press the Menu soft and select Preferred Networks. (retrieving settings may take a few minutes). 3. Select a network and re-priorities the order for network usage by pressing the Up or Down key. 4. Press the Done soft key. Note: If there are many service providers available to you, enable this function to select a lower fee network. 81
