In-Call Options Select actions by pressing the left softkey for MENU during a call. A list of options is displayed that allows you to perform different actions during the course of a call. The following options are available: (To select an option, press the corresponding keypad number or highlight the option and press .) • Mute or UnMute allows you to mute or reactivate your phone's microphone. • DTMF On/DTMF Off activates or deactivates DTMF tones on your keypad. • Speaker On or Speaker Off allows you to activate or deactivate your phone's speaker phone. • Call History checks your call log for Missed, Outgoing, and Incoming calls. You can also erase the logs from this menu. • Contacts accesses the Contacts menu options. • 3-Way Call allows you to talk to two different people at the same time. (For more information, see "Making a ThreeWay Call" on page 25.) • Messaging allows you to check for Voice Mail and notifications. • Voice Memo allows you to record current conversation. • Tools accesses the Tools menu options. • Version displays the hardware/software version and Preferred Roaming List (PRL) being used. 16 Phone Basics

In-Call Options

Mute

UnMute
allows you to mute or reactivate your
phone’s microphone.

DTMF On/DTMF Off
activates or deactivates DTMF tones
on your keypad.

Speaker On

Speaker Off
allows you to activate or
deactivate your phone’s speaker phone.

Call History
checks your call log for Missed, Outgoing,
and Incoming calls. You can also erase the logs from this
menu.

Contacts
