Messaging To access the Settings menu: 1. Press the left softkey for MENU. 2. Press for Messaging. 3. Press for Text. 4. Press for Settings. The following options are available: CallBack Number: allows you to change the callback number for this message. The default callback number is your mobile phone number. Save to Outbox: allows you to adjust whether sent messages are saved in your Outbox. Your options are: • Auto Save - automatically saves a copy of the outgoing message in the filed folder. • Prompt - prompts you to save a copy of the outgoing message. • Do Not Save - does not save a copy of the outgoing message. Auto Delete Inbox: allows you to adjust whether read messages are automatically deleted from your Inbox. Your options are On or Off. Default Entry Mode: The Entry Method allows you to set the default character input method for new text messages. You can select between: • T9 Word: is a predictive text entry mode • Alpha: is the standard keypad text entry mode. Messaging 57
