Use the navigation key to select: • 3 Seconds, 7 Seconds, 15 Seconds, 30 Seconds, Always On, or Always Off for the On setting. • 1 Minute, 2 Minutes, 5 Minutes, 10 Minutes or Always On for the Dim setting. • 7 Seconds, 15 Seconds, Always On, or Always Off for the Keypad setting. 7. Press to save and exit. Note: Long backlight settings reduce the battery's talk and standby times. Changing the Contrast of your Displays The Contrast setting adjusts the contrast of your main and front LCD screens. You can adjust the contrast if you have difficulty viewing the screen, particularly in sunlight. To change the Contrast setting: 1. Press the left softkey for MENU. 2. Press for Settings. 3. Press for Display. 4. Press for Contrast. 5. Press for Main Display or for Front Display. 6. Press the navigation keys left or right to adjust the contrast level and press to save your changes.
