BEFORE RECORDING AND DUBBING Accidental erasure prevention tabs (for protecting valuable recordings) Accidental erasure can be prevented by breaking out the tabs on the end of the cassette tape (where the tape is not exposed) using a screwdriver or similar implement. If a tab is broken out in error and you wish to re-record the tape, simply block the tab hole using adhesive tape and the tape can be using for recording again. Use deck B for recording. Press [FUNCTION] to select "CD". 3. Load the disc to be recorded. 4. Press the disc select button ([DISC 1], [DISC 2], [DISC 3], [DISC 4], [DISC 5]) to play the disc to be recorded, then press [CLEAR • ]. • For programmed recording, this step is not necessary. • Press [1414 /414 ] or [10-110./104•1] to select the track to be played if required. 5. When the end of the tape is reached before CD changer stops, deck B stops. CD play pauses. When CD changer stops before deck B stops, press [ /A] immediately to stop the tape. Recording from playing track When you want to record music as you listen, press [•]. Recording starts automatically from the beginning of the track. -E15-
