Shooting Problem The flash does not operate. The digital zoom does not work. Cause The flash off mode is selected. The flash unit is not open. The battery pack is dead. The still image is set to J. The digital zoom setting is set to "OFF". Action Set the flash to automatic flash mode or forced flash mode. Press the m button to open the flash unit. Recharge the battery pack, or replace with a new battery pack. Or connect the AC adaptor (supplied). Set the still image to M or lower. Set the digital zoom setting to "ON".
