Inserting Batteries into the Remote Control 1 Remove the battery cover from the remote control. 2 Insert two size AA batteries (supplied) by matching the e and E on the batteries to the diagram inside the battery compartment. 1 2 ✍ To avoid possible battery leak damage, remove the batteries if you anticipate the remote control will not be used for an extended period. ✍ Handle the remote control with care. Avoid dropping it, getting it wet, or placing it in direct sunlight, near a heater, or in high humidity. ✍ Your remote control can be programmed to operate most video equipment.
