Using functions for shooting Shooting menu The function in shooting mode using MENU button are described below. For details on how to operate the menu, see page 36. The default settings are marked with . When the mode has been set to PLAY, switch it to REC with (Play) button. Camera: Selecting a camera mode The following modes are predetermined to match the scene conditions. Scene Selection .Backlight Shoots strongly backlight scenes. Low Light*1*2 Suitable for shooting in dark places. Landscape Focuses on a distant subject. Sports Shoots moving subjects outdoors or in other bright places. Auto You can shoot images in Auto adjustment mode. *1 The shutter speed becomes slower, so using a tripod is recommended. *2 The image may appear rough depending on the subject. • The close-up shooting function (Macro) does not work when Scene Selection mode.
