If you format it on a computer, the memory card may not be usable with the camera, depending on the format type used. • Formatting may take several minutes depending on the memory card. • When the remaining battery time is 1 percent or less, you cannot format memory cards. The camera resets numbers when a file is recorded in a new folder and assigns numbers to files from "0001."
