Using the TV's features Programming your favorite channels The favorite channel feature allow you to use the FAV yz buttons on the remote control to cycle through your favorite channels, skipping over channels you do not normally watch. You can program a maximum of 12 favorite channels. Note: You can still use CHANNEL (CH) yz to cycle through all the channels you previously programmed into the TV's memory (see "Programming channels into the TV's memory" on page 14). To Program your favorite channels: 1. Press MENU, and then press x or • to display the SET UP menu. 2. Press y or z to highlight EDIT, and then press z to display the edit menu. 3. Press z to highlight CH POSITION. SET UP TV/CABLE TV SYSTEM AUTO CH PROGRAM EDIT CH POSITION 12 ADD/ERASE ADD FAV. CH SET 4. Press x or • to select a channel you want to program as a favorite channel. 5. Press z to highlight FAV.CH. FAV yz MENU CH yz SET UP TV/CABLE TV SYSTEM AUTO CH PROGRAM EDIT CH POSITION 12 ADD/ERASE ADD FAV. CH SET 6. Press x or • to select SET. 7. Repeat steps 3-6 for up to 12 channels. 8. Press EXIT. To select your favorite channels: Press FAV y or z on the remote control to cycle through the favorite channels you programmed. Note: The FAV yz buttons will not work unless you program at least one favorite channel. To clear a favorite channel: Select CLEAR in step 6 above. EXIT yzx • Using the TV's Features 16
