Connecting your TV Connecting a DVD player or satellite receiver E and a VCR This connection allows you to watch DVD/satellite, VCR, or TV F programs. You can record from the satellite receiver or TV. You can also record one TV channel while watching another channel. S Note: If your DVD player has component video connections, see "Connecting a DVD player with ColorStream® (component video) and a VCR on page 10. You will need: Introduction • one coaxial cable • one set of A/V cable • one pair of audio cables • one S-video cable (between the TV and DVD player/satellite receiver) From Antenna Stereo VCR IN from ANT OUT to TV CH 3 CH 4 Back of TV VIDEO AUDIO LR IN OUT Side of TV Note: To watch a DVD /satellite program, the TV must select VIDEO 1; to watch a VCR program, the TV must select VIDEO 2 (see page 22). You can use a standard video cable instead of an S-video cable between the TV and DVD player/satellite receiver, but the picture quality will decrease.
