172 WinDVD 2000 Using WinDVD Advanced Features The features described in this section are available on the WinDVD expanded control panel. To open the expanded control panel, click the expanded controls button on the WinDVD main control panel. See "Playing DVDs" on page 155 for help locating the expanded controls button. Directional buttons Numeric keypad WinDVD expanded control panel Use this To do this Or use keyboard shortcut Playback speed- None control the speed at which the DVD plays. Move the slider to the left to slow the playback speed or move it to the right to play the DVD faster. Placing the slider in the center plays the DVD at normal speed, and enables the audio. The audio is automatically muted at any other playback speed. Brightness - move + (increases) the slider to the right to increase video - (decreases) brightness. Move it to the left to decrease brightness.
