Extending light source life To keep the light source life as long as possible, you can do the following settings via the OSD menu. Use the Power Saving mode to reduce system noise and power by 20%. If you select Power Saving mode, the light intensity will decrease and the projection pattern will be darker. Switching the projector setting to Power Saving mode also extends the light source. To set Power Saving mode, go to Advanced > Light Source Settings > Light Source Mode, press / to select Power Saving, or press [Eco Mode] on the remote control to make the choice. Setting Auto Power Off This function allows the projector to shut down automatically after the set time, to avoid unnecessary wastage of the light source. 1. Open the OSD menu and go to the Power Management > Smart Energy menu. 2. Press [Enter] to display the Smart Energy page. 3. Select Auto Power Off and press / to select the time. 4. If the pre-set time length is not suitable for your needs, select Disable. The projector will not automatically shut down in a certain time period. Open the OSD menu and go to the Power Management > Smart Energy menu. 2. Press [Enter] to display the Smart Energy page. 3. Select Sleep Timer and press / to select the time. 4. If the length of the pre-set time does not apply to your presentation, select Disable. The projector will not automatically shut down in a certain time period. Set power saving If no input source is detected after 5 minutes. The projector will reduce power consumption to avoid unnecessary wastage of the life of the light source. You can further decide whether to let the projector turn off after the set time. 1. Open the OSD menu and go to the Power Management > Smart Energy menu. 2. Press [Enter] to display the Smart Energy page. 3. Select Power Saving Press / and select Enable. 4. When Enable is selected, the light source of the projector will be changed to Eco mode 5 minutes after no signal is detected. If the projector has not detected the signal after 20 minutes, its light source power will be changed to SuperEco mode. 35

Extending light source life
To keep the light source life as long as possible, you can do the following settings via
