TROUBLE-SHOOTING AND MAINTENANCE Inspect and tighten all parts each time you use the home gym system. Replace any worn parts immediately. The home gym system can be cleaned using a damp cloth and mild non-abrasive detergent. Do not use scdvents. HOW TO TIGHTEN THE CABLES Woven cable, the type of cable used on the home gym system, can stretch slightly when it is first used. If there is slack in the cables before resistance is felt, the cables should be tightened. To tighten the cables, remove the Long Cable (18) and s-hook from the 5/16" x 1 1/2" Bolt (21). Remove the 5/16" Nylon Locknut (1), the 5/16" Washer (20), the 3/4" Spacer (19), and the 5/16" x 1 1/2" Bolt from the bracket on the Leg Lever (37). Move the Bolt to the next hole in the bracket. Replace the Washer, the Spacer, and the Nylon Locknut. Re-attach the Long Cable with the s-hook. 0 21 18 1'I 19 20 43 37 Adjust the position of the 5/16" x 1 1/2" Bolt (21) as needed to tighten the cables. Be sure that the cables are not too tight, or the top weight will be lifted off the weight stack. If the cables need to be replaced, see ORDERING REPLACEMENT PARTS on the back cover of this manual. 13
