SETTINGS On the multifunction terminal: Put the terminal in registration mode: 891 - ADVANCED FCT / DECT / REGISTER On the machine, press , enter 891 using the keypad and confirm with OK. The machine starts searching for the handset. During the registration process (up to one minute), the LCD screen displays HANDSET REGISTRATION. The message disappears once registration is complete. If the registration process fails (for example, the handset left the registration mode too soon), the machine emits a 3-beep signal. In this case, repeat the procedure from step 1. The new handset and the base are mutually searching for each other. The registration may take several seconds. Once the handset is registered, the handset automatically exits the registration mode and lets you know the registration is done. You can also set your base to the registration mode using a handset already registered by selecting the Registration function in the menu SETTINGS/ADVENCED SET./SET BASE. Modifying the terminal preference This function enables you to specify which base will be used by your handset to make calls (if your handset is registered to several bases).
