Offsetting Output Offsetting Output The Offset Catch Tray (referred to as the Offset Bin in the printer driver), shown in Figure 3.2, is an optional output device available for your printer. Figure 3.2 Offset Catch Tray (front view) The Offset Catch Tray can be used in either of two ways, depending on how it is configured in the Control Panel's menu system: • As an additional 500-sheet capacity output bin to supplement the 500-sheet standard output bin. • To offset alternating print jobs and alternating copies of the same print job. To use the Offset Catch Tray, submit your print jobs as usual, selecting Offset Bin as the destination (Auto Select uses the Control Panel setting). The System Menu's Output Offset item controls the default setting for whether or not the offset bin will offset successive print jobs or copies. The Offset Catch Tray (referred to as the Offset Bin in the
printer driver), shown in Figure 3.2, is an optional output
device available for your printer.
The Offset Catch Tray can be used in either of two ways,
