English Access control Child Lock (DVD and VCD) When activating Child Lock, only discs that are authorized can be played without entering a code. The Recorder memory maintains a list of 50 authorized ('Child safe') disc titles. A disc will be placed in the list when you select 'Play always.' Each time a 'Child safe' disc is played, it will be placed on top of the list.When the list is full and a new disc is added, the last disc in the list will be removed. Press u (right cursor). 1 5 1en off no off Access control Status box Auto resume Low power standby Features Enter code 9 Select Ç using v (up cursor) if you want to lock the disc. ➤ Select É to deactivate the Child Lock. 10 Press ENTER/OK or t (left cursor) to confirm. Press SYSTEM MENU to remove the menu. ➤ If you locked the disc, unauthorized discs will not be played unless the 4-digit code is entered. The disc will be locked and the Recorder will ask for your 4-digit code the next time you try to play the disc.You must turn the Recorder power Off, then On, for the Lock to take effect. Notes: - Reconfirmation of the 4-digit code is necessary when: the code is entered for the very first time; the code is changed (see 'Changing the 4-digit code'); the code is cancelled (see 'Changing the 4-digit code'). - If you forgot your code, press four times while in the access control PIN code box and exit with ENTER/OK. Access control is now switched off.You can then enter a new code as described above. 5 Enter a 4-digit code of your own choice (the first time) using the digit buttons 0-9. 6 Enter the code a second time. 7 Move to Child lock using w/v (down/up cursor). 8 Move to Ç / É using u (right cursor). Access control
Child Lock (DVD and VCD)
When activating Child Lock, only discs that are authorized
can be played without entering a code.
The Recorder memory maintains a list of 50 authorized
(‘Child safe’) disc titles. A disc will be placed in the list
when you select ‘Play always.’ Each time a ‘Child safe’ disc is
played, it will be placed on top of the list. When the list is
full and a new disc is added, the last disc in the list will be
removed.
Activating/deactivating the child lock

Notes:
