MISCELLANEOUS FUNCTIONS Program play SACD DVD-A VCD CD Enjoy listening to your favorite tracks in any order. This unit enables you to program sequence for up to 32 tracks from disc. ■ Changing or adding to the program during program play 1 Press a to stop program play. 2 Press a again to clear the resume function. PLAY MODE , , , / ENTER Numeric buttons CANCEL 1 Press a to stop playback. 2 Press PLAY MODE repeatedly to select the Program play mode. Each time you press PLAY MODE, an indicator on the front panel shows in the following order. PROG (Program play) RNDM (Random play) 3 Press the cursor buttons (k, n) to select the desired track order position. 4 Press the numeric buttons to enter group (DVD-Audio only) and track numbers. ■ Canceling programmed tracks 1 Press a to stop program play. 2 Press a again to clear the resume function. 3 Press the cursor buttons (k, n) to select a track to cancel. 4 Press CANCEL. Notes • All programs will be canceled if you press a in the pro- gramming status. • If you program a Video CD track (ver. 2.0), playback con- trol is canceled during program play. ■ Exiting programming mode Normal playback 1 Press a repeatedly to stop program play. 3 Press numeric buttons to select the group and track. Notes • "Group" can be selected only when playing DVD-Audio. • You can program up to 32 tracks in desired order. "FULL" appears on the display after exceeding the programmable number of tracks. 4 Press w to start playback. SACD • On combination discs (which include 2-channel and multichannel areas), you can program tracks only in the currentlyselected area. • If you press a while programming an SACD, all program will be cancelled. DVD-A • The "All group play" screen (playback of all groups in order) is added to step 2. 2 Press PLAY MODE twice. • Turning off the power or opening the disc tray will cancel all programs. 16
