Chapter 4 Station Mode Table 12 Security Settings: IEEE 802.1x LABEL DESCRIPTION PEAP Inner EAP This field is only available when you select PEAP in the EAP Type field. Validate Server Certificate (Click to Enable) Back Next Exit The PEAP method used by the RADIUS server or AP for client authentication is MS CHAP v2. Select this option to validate a server's certificate when you select PEAP in the EAP Type field. Click Back to go to the Site Survey screen to select and connect to another network. Click Next to confirm your selections and advance to the Summary screen. Refer to Section 4.4.2 on page 61. Click Exit to return to the Site Survey screen without saving. 4.4.2 Summary Screen Use this screen to confirm and save the security settings. Figure 37 Summary Screen The following table describes the labels in this screen. Table 13 Summary Screen LABEL DESCRIPTION Network Name This field displays the SSID previously entered. (SSID) Network Type This field displays the network type (Infrastructure or Ad-Hoc) of the wireless device. Channel This field displays the channel number used by the profile. Security This field shows whether data encryption is activated (WEP, WPA, WPA-PSK, WPA2, WPA2-PSK, 802.1x) or inactive (DISABLE). Back Click Back to return to the previous screen. N220 User's Guide 61
