The message stays on for a few seconds after the system stops SERVICE CHARGING SYSTEM If this message displays while you are driving, there may be a problem with the electrical charging system. It could mean that there is a loose or broken drive belt or that there is another electrical problem. Have the vehicle checked right away by your dealer. Driving while this message is on could drain the battery.
