Instrument Panel Indicators High Beam Indicator Turn Signal and Hazard Warning Indicators The left or right turn signal indicator blinks when you signal a lane change or turn. If the indicator does not blink or blinks rapidly, it usually means one of the turn signal bulbs is burned out (see page 193 ). Replace the bulb as soon as possible, since other drivers cannot see that you are signaling. When you press the Hazard Warning button, both turn signal indicators blink. All turn signals on the outside of the vehicle should flash. This indicator comes on with the high beam headlights. For more information, see page 67 . On Canadian models, this indicator comes on with reduced brightness when the Daytime Running Lights (DRL) are on (see page 67 ). ''Daytime Running Lights'' Indicator Canadian models only Low Fuel Indicator This indicator comes on as a reminder that you must refuel soon. Washer Level Indicator Canadian models only Instruments and Controls This indicator comes on when the washer fluid level is low. Add washer fluid when you see this indicator (see page 186 ). Tailgate and Hatch Glass Open Indicator This indicator comes on if the tailgate or the hatch glass is not closed tightly. Door-open Indicator This indicator comes on if any door is not closed tightly. This indicator comes on when you turn the ignition switch to ON (II) with the headlight switch off and the parking brake set. It should go off if you turn on the headlights or release the parking brake. If it comes on at any other time, it means there is a problem with the DRL. There may also be a problem with the high beam headlights. 59
