Element Holder End Plate the screw at the element holder end plate • Release and carefully slide and remove the element from the element holder. Check inside the intake tract for dirt. If dirt is present, clean the intake tract thoroughly. You may also need to replace the air filter element. Push a clean, lint-free towel into the intake tract to keep dirt or other foreign material from entering into the throttle bodies. Wipe out the inside of the air cleaner housing with a clean damp towel. • •

Release the screw at the element holder end plate
and carefully slide and remove the element from
the element holder.

Check inside the intake tract for dirt.
If dirt is
