NOTE
Front and rear final gear cases use different types
of oils. Use the specified type and brand of oil in
each final gear case. See page 105 and 106 for
more information.
Oil Change
NOTE
Front and rear final gear case oil drains easily and
picks up any sediment when the oil is warmed up
by running the vehicle.
With the vehicle level, place an oil pan beneath
each gear case.
Remove the filler caps and drain plugs.
NOTE
For the rear final gear case, the drain plug includes
a magnet. If metal particles stick on the drain plug,
clean it off before installing.
