With the vehicle level front-to-rear and side-to
-side, unscrew the oil filler plug, wipe its dipstick
dry, and screw it in again.
A. Oil Filler Plug
NOTICE
Be careful not to allow any dirt or foreign ma-
terials to enter the engine.
•
Unscrew the plug and check the oil level. The oil
level should be between the mesh portion on the
dipstick.
A. Screw in the oil filler plug fully to inspect the
oil level
B. Mesh Portion
•
If the oil level is too high, remove the excess oil
through the oil filler opening using a syringe or
some other suitable device.
•
If the oil level is too low, add oil to reach the correct
level. Use the same type and brand of oil that is
already in the engine.
