X Add washer fluid (Y page 228). Power assistance for the steering system is not available. A considerably higher degree of effort is necessary to steer the vehicle. X Check whether you are capable to apply the higher degree of effort necessary to safely steer the vehicle. If you are able to steer the vehicle safely: X ¥ D Check Washer Fluid Power Steering Malfunctio n See Operator's Manual Practical hints Continue driving with added caution. X Have the system checked at an authorized Mercedes-Benz Center. If, in any way, you feel that you are not able to steer the vehicle safely: X Stop the vehicle in a safe location as soon as it is safe to do so. X Apply the parking brake. Do not spill antifreeze on hot engine parts. Antifreeze contains ethylene glycol which may burn if it comes into contact with hot engine parts. You could be seriously burned. ! Do not ignore the low engine coolant level warning. Extended driving with the message and symbol displayed may cause serious engine damage not covered by the Mercedes-Benz Limited Warranty. Do not drive without sufficient amount of coolant in the cooling system. The engine will overheat causing major engine damage.
