TROUBLESHOOTING Engine Stops or Loses Power Possible Cause Out of fuel Kinked or plugged fuel vent line Water present in fuel Overuse of choke Fouled or defective spark plug Worn or defective spark plug wire Incorrect spark plug gap or heat range Loose ignition connections Low battery voltage Old, poor or non-recommended fuel Solution Turn fuel valve to reserve, refuel Inspect and replace Replace with new fuel Inspect, clean and/or replace spark plugs Inspect, clean and/or replace spark plugs See your Polaris dealer Set gap to specs or replace plugs Check all connections and tighten Recharge battery to 12.8 VDC or replace Replace with recommended fuel 172
