Engine Electrical Switches FEATURES AND CONTROLS 1. Start Button - The start button engages the starter. Always release the start button as soon as the engine starts. 2. Engine Stop Switch - The purpose of this switch is to OFF RUN OFF provide the operator with a quick means of engine shutdown in case of an emergency. The engine will not start or run when the switch is in the OFF position. 3. Main Key Switch - To start the engine, the main key switch 2 must be in the RUN position. NOTE: Both the main switch and the emergency engine stop switch will shut off all electrical power to the vehicle, including lights. To stop the engine quickly, slide the stop switch either right or left to the OFF position. 53
