Torque Lock If you are parking on hill and you don't shift your a of transaxle intoPARK (P) properly, the weight the vehicle may put too much force on the parking in pawl the transaxle.You may find it difficult to pull shift the lever outof PARK (P). This is called "torque lock." To prevent torque lock, the parking brake and then shift set into PARK (P) properly before you leave the driver's seat.
