How to maintain or verify a disk array The Maintain Disk Array (see Figure 12) shows the current disk array configuration that you have selected. The array's Write Cache State can be changed. Refer to Select write cache properties paragraph in the Creating a disk array section. Verify Array can be specified as no or yes. The default is no. Rebuilding a mirrored disk array Escalade ATA RAID Controllers allow you to create fault tolerant disk arrays by selecting a mirrored RAID 1 or RAID 10 array. after they are initialized. For RAID 1 and 10 arrays the
initial verify must first be done in 3DM, otherwise the
initialization will not be done.
Rebuilding a mirrored disk array
Escalade ATA RAID Controllers allow you to create fault tolerant
disk arrays by selecting a mirrored RAID 1 or RAID 10 array.
These disk arrays store identical data on two or more drives to pro-
tect against drive failure. If one or more of the drives of a mirrored
