Description 15 Speech left key / Speech right key Speech left To talk to the source party. Speech right To talk to the destination party. 16 Microphone Not used. 17 Answer/Extend To answer and extend incoming line calls. The key is also used to start automatic ring signal and to put a call on hold. 18 Headset key To switch from handset to headset. The key lamp shows steady light when calls are connected to the headset. See section "Accessories" on page 88. Note: Headset is optional. 19 Announce To initiate extending with announcement or Camp On to busy extension or external line. 20 Mute During a call: To switch the microphone on or off. In idle mode or when ringing: To switch off the ring signal. 21 Volume control To change the volume. 22 Loudspeaker for ring signal 23 Handset Supplied with hearing aid function as standard.
