4 Using the Notebook PC 3G Watcher (on selected models and in selected territories) The 3G(1) Watcher software application will allow your Notebook PC to connect to 3G wireless networks normally used by 3G mobile phones. When connected, your Notebook PC can connect to the Internet just like using a wireless network. The function described in this section may be unavailable for some models and territories. Skip this section if this function is unavailable on your model. Installing a Mobile SIM card The SIM card compartment allows insertion of a mobile SIM card for 3G functions. Install a mobile SIM card before you use a 3G Watcher software. 2 900 3 1 Using 3G Watcher software A shortcut to the 3G Watcher application will be placed on your desktop.
