6 Maintenance and cleaning When Remote Control is enabled, you can only manage and switch off the machine and follow status on the washing machine. All functions except child lock can be managed through the application. You can check the function indicator on the key to follow whether the Remote Control function is On or Off. If the Remote Control function is Off, all the operations are handled on the washing machine and only status follow-up is allowed on the application. If the Remote Control function cannot be enabled, you will hear a warning after pressing the button. This might occur if the product is switched on or if there is no product paired through Bluetooth. Bluetooth setting being Off or the washing machine's door being open are examples for such cases. When you enable this function on the washing machine, said function will remain on except for certain cases, allowing you to control your washing machine remotely via Bluetooth. In certain cases, it deactivates itself for safety reasons: • When your washing machine undergoes a power interruption. • When the programme knob is turned to select a different programme or when the product is switched off. 5.21.4 Troubleshooting Follow the steps below if you are having problem with controlling or connection. Observe whether the problem persists or not after the action you have performed. Do the following if the problem is not resolved. • Check whether your smart device is connected to the relevant home network. • Restart the product application. • Turn Bluetooth off and on through the user control panel. • If the connection cannot be established with the above processes, repeat the initial set-up settings on the washing machine. If the problem persists, consult an Authorised Service Agent. Service life of product extends and frequently experienced problems will be reduced if it is cleaned at regular intervals. 6.1 Cleaning the detergent drawer Remove any powder residue buildup in the drawer.
