2 INSTALLING YOUR PHONE 2.1 Connecting the base station 1. Plug the power supply and the telephone line cord into the base. 2. Plug the other end of the power adapter into a suitable 230Vac mains socket, and the line cord into your telephone line socket. 3. Use only the power adapter and telephone line cord supplied. 2.2 Installing and charging the batteries 1. Place the 2 supplied batteries into the battery compartment with the polarity markings as shown Use only the NiMH rechargeable battery type provided. 2.
