Setting the Speaker Volume You can select the speaker volume. 1 Press Menu/Set, 1, 4, 3. 2 Press ▲ or ▼ to select Low, Med, High or Off. Press Menu/Set. 3 Press Stop/Exit. 3.Speaker (FAX-1940CN only) When (Fax) is illuminated you can also change the speaker volume in the following ways: Press Speaker Phone, and then adjust the speaker volume by pressing or . The LCD shows the setting you are choosing. Each key press changes the volume to the next setting. The new setting will remain until you change it again. -OR- You can adjust the speaker volume while you are listening to your OGM (Outgoing Message) and ICMs (Incoming Messages) by pressing or . If you turn Incoming Recording Monitor to OFF (Menu/Set, 2, 7, 3) the Speaker for screening calls will be disabled and you won't hear callers leaving messages.
