4. Preparation for embroidering 4-1. Replacing bobbin II Removing bobbin case • Replacing bobbin • Attaching bobbin case 1. Open the rotary hook base cover 0. 2. Hold the knob 0 and remove the bobbin case. 3. Close the knob and remove the bobbin 0. Pull out about SO mm of thread. The thread should be wrapped to the right around the 4 bobbin. 1. Put the bobbin in the bobbin case. 2. Slide the thread under the tension spring 0 through the notch 0. 3. Pull out the thread from the hole of the tension spring 0 and pass it through the hook O. 4. Pull out the thread about 50mm. 1. Hold the knob 0 and attach the bobbin case. 2. Close the cover 0. 4-2. Replacing and selecting needle 1. Removing needle Loosen the thumb screw 0 and remove the needle 0. 2. Attaching needle With the flat side facing the front, insert the needle all the way until it meets the end of the needle bar. Tighten the thumb screw 0 firmly. NOTE: Set the needle so that the notched part comes on the rotary hook side. For better finishing, paste the waxed paper on the back of the material. • For general materials, use DB x K5 #11 or #18 according to the thickness of the material.
