Monaural sound is recorded by the camera's built-in microphone (p.225). By connecting a stereo microphone (commercially available) equipped with a 3.5 mm mini plug to the camera's external microphone IN terminal (p.21), stereo sound recording is possible. With a fully-charged Battery Pack LP-E4N, the total movie shooting time will be as follows: approx. 2 hr. 10 min. at room temperature (23°C/73°F), and approx. 2 hr. at low temperatures (0°C/32°F). The focus preset function is possible for movie shooting when using a (super) telephoto lens equipped with the focus preset mode marketed since the second half of 2011. Final Image Simulation The final image simulation is a function that allows you to see the effects of the Picture Style, white balance, etc., on the image. During movie shooting, the image displayed will automatically reflect the effects of the settings listed below.
