J Protecting Images Protecting an image prevents it from being erased accidentally. Protecting Images Individually with the Button Image protect icon 1 Select the image to be protected. Press the button to play back images, then turn the dial to select the image. 2 Protect the image. When you press the button, the image will be protected and the icon will appear at the top of the screen. To cancel the image protection, press the button again. The icon will disappear.
