BASIC OPERATION ADJUSTING THE SCREEN ZOOM ADJUSTMENT 1 Press the ZOOM button on the Top Control or the ZOOM L/M button on the Remote Control Unit. The message "Zoom" is displayed. 2 Press the ZOOM L button or the POINT UP button to make the image larger, and press the ZOOM M button or the POINT DOWN button to make the image smaller. Zoom Message disappears after 4 seconds. FOCUS ADJUSTMENT 1 Press the FOCUS button on the Top Control or the FOCUS L/M button on the Remote Control Unit. The message "Focus" is displayed. 2 Adjust the focus of the image by pressing the FOCUS L/M button or the POINT UP/DOWN button(s) . Focus Message disappears after 4 seconds. KEYSTONE ADJUSTMENT If the projected picture has keystone distortion, correct the image with KEYSTONE adjustment. 1 Press the KEYSTONE button on the Remote Control Unit or select Keystone on the SETTING menu. (Refer to page 36.) The keystone dialog box appears. 2 Correct keystone distortion by pressing the POINT UP/DOWN button(s) on the Top Control or on the Remote Control Unit. Press the POINT UP button to reduce the upper part of the image, and press the POINT DOWN button to reduce the lower part. • The arrows are blue in no correction. • The arrow of direction being corrected turns light blue. • The arrow disappears at the maximum correction. • If you press the KEYSTONE button on the Remote Control Unit once more while the keystone dialog box is being displayed, the keystone adjustment will be set into no correction. Reduce the upper width with the POINT UP button. Reduce the lower width with the POINT DOWN button. PICTURE FREEZE FUNCTION Press the FREEZE button on the Remote Control Unit to freeze the picture on-screen. To cancel the FREEZE function, press the FREEZE button again or press any other button. 20
