Advanced Functions Select the AF Frame Mode Dial You can change the autofocus frame (AF frame) selection method. The AF frame will appear when the LCD monitor is turned on (p. 26). The camera automatically AiAF selects between 9 AF (Auto frames to focus on Selection) according to the shooting conditions. Of 9 AF frames, the Center (Center Selection) middle one is selected to focus. This is convenient for making sure the focus is exactly where you want it.
