Basic Functions Turning the Power On / Off The power/mode indicator remains lit while the power of the camera is on. The power/mode indicator indicates the state of the camera as follows. Orange: Shooting mode Green: Replaying mode/Printer connection mode* Yellow: Computer connection mode* Off: The power of the camera is off. Power/Mode Indicator * For printer connection mode, see Printing with Card Photo Printer CP-10 (Optional) (p. 112) and Printing with Bubble Jet Printer with Direct Print Function (Optional) (p. 121). For computer connection mode, see Software Starter Guide supplied with the camera. Turning On/Off the Camera in Shooting Mode 1 Open the lens cover. • The camera powers up in Shooting mode. • The power/mode indicator shines orange. Close the lens cover. • The power goes off. Turning On/Off the Camera in Replaying Mode 1 Slide the power/replay lever to the right and hold its position until an image appears on the LCD monitor, then release it. • The camera powers up in Replaying mode. • The power/mode indicator shines green.
