Zooming in More Closely on Subjects (Digital Zoom) Turning off the digital zoom To turn off the digital zoom, press the n button, choose the 4 tab, and choose [Digital Zoom] and the [Off] option. Digital Tele-Converter The focal length of the lens can be increased by an equivalent of 1.5x or 2.0x. This enables a faster shutter speed and less chance of camera shake than the zoom (including digital zoom) used by itself at the same zoom factor. The images may appear coarse, however, depending on the combination of recording pixel (p. 69) and digital tele-converter settings used. Choose [Digital Zoom]. ● Press the n button. ● Press the qr buttons to choose the 4 tab, and press the op buttons to choose [Digital Zoom].
