Shooting Modes Shooting Modes In mode, the camcorder offers a number of shooting modes that give you varying degrees of control over the camcorder's settings. Select the shooting mode most appropriate to your needs or creative vision and adjust manually those settings you wish to control, letting the camcorder take care of the rest. Shooting modes cannot be used when infrared recording is activated. Operating modes: 39 1 Select the shooting mode button. 2 Select the desired shooting mode and then select [X]. • The shooting mode button will show the selected mode's icon. Shooting mode Description A ' (Programmed AE) The camcorder automatically sets the shutter speed, aperture and gain. 43 , (Shutter Priority AE) You manually set the shutter speed while the camcorder automatically adjusts 43 the aperture and gain. " (Aperture Priority AE) You manually set the aperture and ND filter while the camcorder automatically 43 adjusts the shutter speed and gain. n (Manual Exposure) You manually set the shutter speed, aperture and gain, giving you full control 42 over the exposure. Special Scene modes These modes offer preset combinations of settings optimized for specific 40 situations.
