Replacing the Toner Cartridge 3 When the LCD displays , redistribute you can easily hold the handle of toner in the toner cartridge. If the the toner cartridge. message persists, replace the toner cartridge. Redistributing Toner 1 Open the left cover. 4 Remove the toner cartridge. 2 Grasp the blue plastic pull tab (A) on the toner cartridge. A CAUTION - Always hold the toner cartridge by its handle. - Do not open the drum protective shutter on the toner cartridge. Replacing the Toner Cartridge
When the LCD displays <TONER LOW/
PREPARE NEW TONER>, redistribute
toner in the toner cartridge. If the
message persists, replace the toner
cartridge.
Redistributing Toner

Open the left cover.

Grasp the blue plastic pull tab
(A) on the toner cartridge.

Pull the blue plastic pull tab until
you can easily hold the handle of
the toner cartridge.
4
Remove the toner cartridge.
CAUTION
–
Always hold the toner cartridge by its
handle.
–
Do not open the drum protective shutter
on the toner cartridge. Print quality may
deteriorate if the drum surface is
exposed to light or is damaged.
